Brandon Brehmer is an independently published author, romance novelist, ghost hunter, motivational speaker, storyteller, food reviewer, and creator who has never been very good at staying in just one lane.
Brandon has been writing since childhood and has built a growing collection of independently published novels across multiple genres. He is especially known for writing romance novels, including contemporary romance, LGBTQ+ romance, and stories about love, relationships, and finding your way through life. But his newest work takes his storytelling in a much darker direction.
His newest novel, Madness From Above: Rebirth, is a reimagining of Brandon's very first book, Madness From Above. Returning to the story that started his journey as an author, Brandon has rebuilt it as a dark horror and dystopian novel, bringing a fresh vision to a story that has been with him since the beginning. Rebirth represents both a new chapter in Brandon's writing and a return to his roots.
As a motivational speaker, Brandon shares his experiences and encourages others to pursue their goals, embrace who they are, and keep moving forward—even when life takes them in unexpected directions.
His newest adventure is taking him out of the pages of his books and into some of Wisconsin's most mysterious locations.
In Fall 2026, Brandon will launch Wisconsin After Dark, a new ghost-hunting and paranormal series exploring haunted locations, unexplained experiences, strange history, and the stories that continue to give Wisconsin its darker side.
As a ghost hunter, Brandon will take viewers along for the investigations—meeting the people connected to these locations, exploring the unknown, and discovering what happens when the cameras start rolling and the lights go out.
Brandon is building a growing presence throughout Wisconsin through his books, motivational work, food reviews, local adventures, and upcoming paranormal series. His goal is to tell compelling stories, spotlight the people and places that make Wisconsin unique, inspire others to chase their own dreams, and bring audiences along for the journey.
When he's not writing, speaking, investigating, or exploring Wisconsin, Brandon enjoys discovering the state's restaurants, small businesses, scenic destinations, and communities. His food reviews offer another way to connect with local businesses and share the places and experiences worth discovering.
What started as a love of writing has grown into something much bigger—a collection of romance novels, horror and dystopian fiction, motivational work, food reviews, paranormal investigations, and Wisconsin adventures.

On these long cold winter nights, this book will do just fine to heat you up. It was so good. I couldn’t stop read it. Cover to cover in one night and then I read it the next day. I’ll probably read it again tonight I enjoyed it so much.
